Disables responsive images introduced in 4.4. This plugin is only meant to be a temporary solution to fixing conflicts with certain plugins and themes. Responsive images drive the web forward.

- Why would I ever want to disable responsive images?

You really wouldn’t, but if you absolutely need to because of conflicts with outdated plugins or themes, here it is.
Thanks, I have 300+ blog posts that need to be updated and this plugin solved the issues.
This is a lifesaver! We’re using it as a temp fix we’re having with srcset images not loading from a CDN properly. Thanks!
I’m amazed how simple this plugin is. It didn’t completely remove the ‘srcset’ attribute but only removed the extra image sizes it contains. I was using retina support, so it kept the 1x and 2x sizes in srcset but removed all other sizes. Perfect plugin! Huge thanks to the developers/contributors.
We had several sites with the issue on high-res mobile screens, with Wordpress core serving up severely pixelated images on responsive themes. Ditto on @secludedsea comment above. Unacceptable, Wordpress! Fix the issue and give us the control in future releases. Are you kidding? Also worked on 4.2.2 for whatever that’s worth.
We had a problem after a theme update. After the update, and regenerating thumbnails using a plugin, images were consistently sized on a Windows desktop and a Surface Pro, but not on at least one iPad. On the iPad some featured images in post lists (widgets) were reduced in size, making the site look inconsistent. I don’t know whether it was the theme, Wordpress, or who-knows-what, but this plugin fixed that. Thank you!
