This plugin adds the ability to filter media by size in the WordPress Media Library. Once activated, a Filter Size dropdown appears in the Media Library’s list and grid view. You can filter files such as images, videos, audio, documents, and more by their size (in KB or MB) when browsing or retrieving them.
It also offers an option to filter media items directly within the Media Library interface.

How to Display Media Size?
The media size is shown in a “Media Size” column within the media library table.
How Does the Plugin Handle Existing and Newly Uploaded Files?
The plugin already stores media file sizes in the database. When activated, it retrieves and displays file sizes in the media library. Additionally, when new media files are uploaded, their sizes are stored and displayed automatically.
How Can I Filter Media by Size?
This feature is available in the Media Library. Use the filter dropdown to select a size range and view matching files.

स्थापना
For an automatic installation through WordPress:
- Go to the ‘Add New’ plugins screen in your WordPress admin area
- Search for ‘Media Size filter’
- Click ‘Install Now’ and activate the plugin
- A dropdown of categories will show up in the media library
For a manual installation via FTP:
- Upload the ‘Media Size and filter’ directory to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in your WordPress admin area
- A dropdown of categories will show up in the media library
To upload the plugin through WordPress, instead of FTP:
- Upload the downloaded zip file on the ‘Add New’ plugins screen (see the ‘Upload’ tab) in your WordPress admin area and activate.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in your WordPress admin area
- A dropdown of categories will show up in the media library
