This is an addon of \"Easy Digital Downloads\" plugin.<\/p>\n\n

If you want to make discount code as a required field, this plugin will help.<\/p>\n\n

During checkout when a customer will try to purchase without entering any discount code, checkout process will be interrupted and customer will see an error notice.<\/p>\n\n

You can configure the error notice text from \"Downloads>Force Discount\" menu from admin panel.<\/p>\n\n\n

From your WordPress dashboard<\/h4>\n\n

  1. Visit 'Plugins > Add New'<\/li>\n
  2. Search for 'Force Discount for EDD'<\/li>\n
  3. Activate 'Force Discount for EDD' from your Plugins page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    1. Download 'Force Discount for EDD'.<\/li>\n
    2. Upload the 'edd-force-discount' folder to your '\/wp-content\/plugins\/' directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc...)<\/li>\n
    3. Activate 'Force Discount for EDD' from your Plugins page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      After that you can configure the plugin settings from \"Downloads>Force Discount\" menu from admin panel.<\/p>\n\n\n
