I have used CFDB since the original by M Simpson and have found it the best way (for me as a non-PHP MySQL expert) to access database tables for forms. The documentation is good I used for a web based noticeboard via the shortcode builder. I have used with CF7 and Jetpack Forms with no issues. The new version has good new features though now branded as Contactic which looks a little less obvious as a flexible DB management plugin name I am sure this method of inputting and retrieving data has loads of uses in addition to contact dababases. Last update looks quite some time ago so hopefully it is still supported. I did have some issues with the old CFDB and later PHP versions but no longer an issue with this plugin.

It returns a 404 not found when exporting to excel. Wordpress version 5.2.4
